Becoming Kings
Becoming Kings Podcast is for any man pursuing greater abundance and fulfillment in life, especially when he knows he’s not living up to his greatest potential. “What does it take to be powerful, purpose-driven and fulfilled?” It means becoming a King. It means doing the difficult work of breaking down the old masculine paradigms and becoming whole, healthy, and trustworthy. In order for men to move into this King energy, they need a guide. A way out of the old ways of being a man of oppression, repression, and aggression and instead, walking a path toward becoming a King; a man of strength, clarity, and fulfillment. This podcast is that guide and it starts here!
The Need for Kinship
The strength of the wolf is the pack
Part of the process of becoming kings is being a lifelong learner. Having a strong intuition, work ethic, and relentless pursuit of improvement are necessary ingredients toward self-fulfillment, we often make the mistake of making that journey alone.
The learning aspect is often associated with locking ourselves in a room and putting our heads down into some book or class. However, that often means we miss the opportunity to learn from the infinite wisdom of others.
On this episode of the Becoming Kings Podcast, we dive deep into investing in masterminds, masterclasses, and other resources that can be the key to unlocking massive growth in your life. The old adage of taking it slow and winning as a team rather than looking for the solo home run is an apt comparison when it comes to self-actualization.
In this episode you’ll learn about…
- Improving your self-esteem. (0:46)
- Action over analyzation. (4:21)
- Business Mastermind. (8:37)
- The collective mind. (12:25)

The Importance of Transformative Experiential Work with Michael Gay
Transformation instead of interpretation
When one lacks a belief system that helps them find their place in the world, they’ll sink like a rock. Michael Gay felt his soul wilting and knew there had to be something to reinvigorate it.
He found the answer in his own spirit and inner work on parts of his soul that had long been ignored. Michael found that by digging deep into experiential work, one can tap into a wellspring of knowledge that infinitely expands their levels of vitality, fulfillment, and spiritual wellbeing.
For those who are brave enough to do the work yet haven’t found the right fit, more experiential and embodied spiritual work could be the solution they’ve missed in more mainstream therapeutic techniques.
While cognitive and intellectual therapy can be beneficial, Michael has found that the shift men need is often found in the places they were least likely to look. On this episode of the Becoming Kings podcast, we’ll search those dark corners of the soul and discover solutions we previously never thought possible.

The Value of Mastermind Groups
Investing in yourself
Financial abundance is often at the core of our lives as it serves as a vehicle to service important parts of our lives. Having money allows us to feel good about ourselves, not worry about finances, and decreases stress in general.
However, achieving financial abundance comes with its own challenges and problems.
The key question that comes with having money is “what do you ultimately want?” To achieve that, you’ll most likely still have to take on some risk and continue to iterate on what has already brought you success, which is easier said than done. The payoff is worth its weight in gold. Lack of financial stress allows us to have the time and bandwidth to do what brings us joy, have new experiences, and find new passions.
This episode is dedicated to navigating the ever-evolving financial landscape, and the tools available to us that can be instrumental in achieving new heights.
In this episode you’ll learn about…
- Would you like to make more money? (0:46)
- Lessons from Rich Dad, Poor Dad. (5:20)
- Turn toys into profit. (11:06)
- Listening and taking action. (16:27)
- Where are you really struggling? (22:19)

On this turbulent, emotional episode of the podcast, I divulge all the feelings that overwhelm stirs up inside of me, how I deal with it, and the techniques we can all implement to manage the negative emotions that come when you’re near the boiling point.

Cultivation Connection with Ranit Damti
Having Your Own Back
Stepping into your power is much easier said than done. Yet it’s a state of being that very few, if any of us end up fully embodying.
Ranit Damti is dedicated to changing that.
Growing up in Israel, Ranit observed that there were very few if any healthy, fully actualized relationships. Her loved ones were putting up facades of strength and confidence, whereas in actuality they were vulnerable, scared, and not fulfilled emotionally. All around her, she observed people who were not coming to grips with their own lives and cultivating real, lasting change.
Harnessing those challenges, her lived experience as an immigrant, and her own extensive personal work, Ranit has swam against the tide of all the difficulties that she’s faced as a stranger in an unknown land. She now helps women navigate the everyday challenges of being an adult in the modern age so they can step into their power, voice, and purpose.
Join Ranit and I for this heartfelt, informative, and powerful discussion and discover how cultivating connection is the key to taking tangible action and making lasting change.
In this episode you’ll learn about…
- What is the Honest Compass? (2:06)
- The initiation into “adulthood”. (15:22)
- What is your “inner knowing”? (28:19)

The Pursuit of Becoming Kings
Doing vs Being
A constant yearning for more is a difficult concept to grapple with for many of us. No matter how much we have, it’s never enough. An important question was posed to me when I was in the midst of tackling this mental hurdle.
How often do we really connect with how we’re feeling?
Struggling with connecting with our heart, and instead paying attention to our head, is part and parcel of the human experience. As our lives get more complicated, busy, and convoluted, it can be easy to kick the can of checking in with our emotions down the road.
On this episode of the podcast, I dissect how we often focus so much on the destination that we miss the beauty of the journey. The hard work comes easy to many of us, yet it’s time to realize that it often comes at a cost.
In this episode you’ll learn about…
- Johnny the Dog Dad. (0:46)
- Seeking fulfillment is not easy. (4:39)
- It’s difficult to see that we can change. (9:46)
- Does time need to pass? (14:47)

Light Shines Through the Broken Pieces with Matt Fisher
Releasing the stigma of men and mental health…
In an individualistic society, we must come together as a community to support those struggling with their mental health. Matt Fisher and I discuss mental health is today’s world as well as what it was like for him growing up with undiagnosed bipolar.
Finishing a degree in addiction psychology, and having spent much of his teenage years addicted to drugs and alcohol, Matt is no stranger to the world of mental health and medications that may come with it.
As a child, Matt experienced bursts of out of control anger, and put on six different medications meant to “balance him out,” and really only made him feel like a zombie. Eventually he turned to drugs and alcohol to numb the anger. Soon this behavior became so extreme we was left passed out in the woods by his “friends.”
Now Matt spends much of his time connecting with other men and building a bond to support them in their own journeys. We dive into the realm of stigmas put onto men by society and how that affects both their mental health and also their ability to speak out and ask for help.
Tune into today’s episode of the Becoming Kings Podcast to learn where balance can be found, and how medications may not always be the answer, and how intimate connections can be made through platonic relationships.

Overview of the 3 Kingdoms
What does it mean to be a king?
Revisiting the point in time you were at rock bottom isn’t a waste of time. Life can become so busy that we forget where we began. Reminding yourself of where you came from is something we can all benefit from – it tends to ground us and keep us humble. It’s empowering to think about how far you’ve come.
The idea of the three kingdoms revolves around fulfillment and satisfaction. When analyzing your life, the focus tends to be on the external rather than the internal. And in reality, our internal state reflects in our external circumstances.
In today’s episode of the Becoming Kings Podcast, I share the three components of becoming the King of your three Kingdoms. If you’re unfamiliar with this concept, give the podcast a listen to ensure you’re on the right track. You deserve to live your life with purpose and feel satisfied.
In this episode you’ll learn about…
- Connecting the dots. (0:46)
- Sit the inner critic down. (5:36)
- Your Inner Kingdom. (11:04)
- Exit the Matrix. (11:46)
- Nurture an open mind. (18:08)

Lessons Learned From the Gravel Road
Enjoy the pain
When you challenge yourself to do difficult things, you know there’s a decent chance it might suck. Whether it’s running, cycling, or lifting, you might even feel like you don’t want to do it. Yet afterward you feel accomplished and therefore better and stronger. Something that got me through my 50-mile bike ride was enjoying the pain.
Enjoying the pain isn’t necessarily thinking about the pain and feeling good about it – although that seems to work too. For me, it was admiring and enjoying the surroundings while riding. Another thing I love about cycling is its pure consistency, which is a key concept I discuss today. Consistency will always trump large amounts of effort in short and dispersed bursts.
In today’s episode of the Becoming Kings Podcast, I share some principles about achieving your goals that I learned from my 50-mile cycle. Whether you’re trying to get stronger in the gym, lose some weight, or gain a promotion, give this episode a listen to understand breaking through mental barriers.
In this episode you’ll learn about…
- Hangin’ with my Wolf Pack. (0:46)
- Long and steady climb is tough. (4:48)
- Cashed out. (9:25)
- Envisioning the road less traveled. (13:43)
- Consistency over massive action. (17:01
